Special Field Trip
Illinois River Trail - East Peoria

Pete Fenner will host a field trip on the Illinois River Trail. We will meet at 7:00 am at the Carl Spindler Marina parking lot in East Peoria. We will be taking a nice boardwalk trail walk leading out to a marshy area, where we can expect a variety of woodland, marsh and perhaps some river species as well.
Directions from Peoria: take 150/24 East across the McCluggage Bridge and exit at route 116 West (toward East Peoria). Turn right at the first traffic light and go straight through the access road onto Marina Lane. There are signs for the Carl Spindler Marina and Campground. Park on the south end of the marina parking lot near the trail.
